The successful candidate will work closely under the direction of senior masons and site supervisors, assisting with raw material preparation, concrete/mortar mixing, block laying support, and maintaining orderly, hazard-free jobsites. Duties & ResponsibilitiesMix mortar, cement, grout, and plaster according to required project ratios and specifications. Transport concrete blocks, bricks, mortar, rebar, and construction tools to masons on scaffolding and worksite areas. Prepare and clean brick, concrete, and masonry surfaces prior to bonding, rendering, or plastering.Assist in the assembly, erection, and dismantling of staging, ladders, and scaffolding platforms.Cut, chip, and break block or stone materials using hand tools and power equipment as instructed.Clean, service, and store masonry tools, mixing troughs, mechanical mixers, and wheelbarrows after each shift.Clear rubble, debris, and hazardous waste from job sites, strictly adhering to site safety and health regulations. Provide general physical support across daily construction and trade operations as assigned. Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven hands-on experience is acceptable; eight (8) or more years of experience is strongly preferred.Thorough knowledge of cement/mortar mixing techniques, block-laying tools, and site safety standards.Strong physical stamina and endurance to perform heavy manual labor, lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, and work outdoors in tropical heat.Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions reliably.Clean police clearance certificate and valid medical fitness clearance.
