Duties and ResponsibilitiesLay concrete blocks, bricks, and structural stone to line, plumb, and level.Mix mortar, cement, and grout to exact specifications for block work and structural fill.Set up formwork, pour, screed, float, and finish concrete for slabs, walkways, foundations, and footings.Apply exterior and interior plastering, rendering, and stucco finishes.Perform structural patching, crack repairs, and finishing work on existing masonry structures.Safely operate manual and power tools, cement mixers, scaffolding, and trade equipment.Ensure all work meets site specifications, safety requirements, and local building codes.Maintain an orderly, hazard-free work site and assist with material handling as needed.Qualifications and RequirementsA minimum of 3 to 4+ years of proven, hands-on masonry experience in the construction industry.
