Maitre 'D is a key front-of-house leader responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. This role oversees reservations, seating arrangements, and the overall flow of service, while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The Maître D’ works closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional manner
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
• Coordinate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
• Supervise and support hosts and front-of-house team members
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests, including VIP accommodation
• Maintain the restaurant’s ambiance and ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are upheld
• Monitor dining room activity to ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently
• Assist in training and developing front-of-house staff
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or hospitality leadership role
