Operations Manager.

Job Description: Loeb Smith Attorneys (the “Firm”) urgently requires an experienced operations manager who has worked as such in a professional services firm to (i) work with the Firm’s Client Relationship team, Accounts team, and Compliance team and manage the general operations of the Firm including managing the relationship between these teams and the Firm’s Partners to reach out to clients in the United States, Latin America and elsewhere who are particularly impacted by The Cayman Islands International Tax Co-operation (Economic Substance) Act (As Revised) (the “Economic Substance Act”) and who will need to visit and have staff in the Cayman Islands to comply with the Economic Substance Act, (ii) deal with and manage day to day operational matters relating to the Cayman office and the BVI office of the Firm, and (iii) taking an active part in client and prospective client related outreach and liaising with them (e.g. in respect of AML/KYC compliance, billing, and business development). This is not an entry level position and requires a candidate with excellent communication, inter-personal and organizational skills.

Required qualifications, skills and experience: Must have at least 3-4 years’ experience managing the operations department of a professional service firm in the legal, accountancy or other professional services sector.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Must have experience in communicating through letters, emails and calls with business clients.
