We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble, fabricate, repair, and maintain metal structures and equipment according to specifications. This role requires a high level of precision, safety awareness, and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine welding requirements.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
Inspect completed welds to ensure structural soundness and conformity to specifications.
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and safety gear in good working condition.
Operate grinders, cutters, and other tools to prepare metal surfaces.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times.
Perform repairs and maintenance welding as needed on machinery or infrastructure.
Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
