Responsible for fabrication of parts for trucks, machinery, plant and heavy equipment using all types of welding equipment. Must be able to arc, mig and tig welding. Must also be able to maintain welding equipment. Will be required to work independently much of the time. Responsible for fabrication of parts for trucks, machinery, plant and heavy equipment using all types of welding equipment. Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience fabricating parts for all types of trucks, machinery and heavy equipment. Must be able to fabricate and weld various types of metal using oxy/acetylene, mig, tig and arc welding equipment. Must be able to read and understand drawings, diagrams and schematics. Must also be able to operate all types of heavy equipment. Will be required to work independently much of the time. Must have a valid Group 4 Operators license with a clean, driving and police record. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays when required. Only candidates that meet the above criteria will be interviewed. A practical test of skills and knowledge will be administered to short listed Candidates. Drug and alcohol testing may be required.
