Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various aspects of the Finance function for several entities that are subject to multiple accounting constructs.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the books and records for multiple legal entities that are subject to different accounting principles (IFRS, US GAAP, country-specific – Lux and Swiss GAAP, cash basis)
• Maintain and improve financial reporting system, quarterly close process, procedures and policy documents
• Maintain and improve liquidity reporting processes, including outstanding receivables/payables and aging
• Coordinate and prepare required materials for board meetings
• Liaise with external service providers (consultants and auditors)
• Functional responsibilities include financial reporting, treasury and wire operations, accounts payable, reconciliations, financial planning, vendor management and general office management

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8+ years’ work experience auditing public companies and in a corporate accounting role at a public company within the financial services industry
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite
• Masters in accounting or business
• Self-starter with ability to identify and drive improvements to existing processes and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, including experience with C-suite
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
