Operating asphalt paving machines and screeds on paving machines to install new and replacement asphalt. Must have a minimum of 10 years’ verifiable extensive experience (required) operating various types of asphalt paving machines, especially BlawKnox and Volvo paving machines. Must be able to use electronic/sonic grade and slope controls. Must know how to operate screeds on paving machines including an understanding of how to achieve proper slopes and grades. Only applicants meeting the above qualification will be interviewed. A test of skills and knowledge will be administered to qualified candidates. Must have a group 4 drivers’ license and a clean police and driving record. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays when required. Random drug testing may be required.
