SALES CLERK.

HEART OF THE SOUVENIR
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Clerk to join our souvenir store team. The Sales Clerk will assist customers with purchases, provide information about our products and the Cayman Islands, maintain an attractive store environment, and ensure excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, courteous service.
Help customers select souvenirs, gifts, clothing, local products, and other merchandise.
Restock shelves and keep merchandise neatly displayed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store.
Receive and arrange new merchandise when required.
Answer customer questions about products and, when appropriate, provide general information about local attractions and the Cayman Islands.
Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Handle customer concerns professionally and refer complex issues to the supervisor or manager.
Follow company policies regarding cash handling, customer service, safety, and security.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Ability to communicate effectively in English. Additional languages are an advantage.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move merchandise and stock as required.
Ability to maintain an active pace in a busy retail environment.
