Description

Silver Wave Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Associate/Crafter with proven face-to-face jewellery retail sales experience and practical ability to craft quality, marketable artisan pieces for local and tourist markets. The successful candidate will combine strong customer service and sales skills with jewellery knowledge, creativity and hands-on crafting ability.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide knowledgeable, personalized face-to-face sales service.
Demonstrate knowledge of jewellery, precious metals, gemstones and current market trends.
Handle, finish and craft quality, saleable artisan jewellery using small hand tools.
Create and maintain professional jewellery displays.
Maintain jewellery inventory and display materials.
Assist with set-up for cultural, promotional and outdoor events; reliable vehicle required.
Work independently in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications:

1 -2 years’ proven face-to-face jewellery retail sales experience.
Demonstrated jewellery crafting/handling ability and manual dexterity.
Strong knowledge of precious metals, gemstones and jewellery.
Ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Creative, commercially aware and customer-focused, with strong communication skills.
High School or equivalent.
GIA training/certification an advantage.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required.
Comfort with a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and public holidays and varying outdoor conditions as required.
