SALES ASSOCIATE

To provide prompt, courteous, professional service to all customers entering the store. This includes: -
• Soliciting sales on and off the floor of related and/or promotional items
• Completing customer's purchase by carrying out cash and debit/credit card transaction
• Ensuring merchandising of products are maintained to franchise standards
• Responsible for ensuring that assigned cashier area and sale shelves areas are kept clean
• Must be very active in selling and great at communication skills
• Must Acquire and maintain good product knowledge of all items in the store

Duties:
• Assist with merchandising on the sales floor- this includes: -
• Ensuring that assigned product sections are well stocked at all times.
• Taking inventory
• Identify missing items
• Placing restocking order
• Ensuring that cashier area and assigned sales shelves are clean, neat and orderly at all times
• Ensure product labels are facing the front
• Responsible for performing sales and cash duties in a safe and transparent manner.
• Responsible for funds received during shift and for completion of shift reports and preparations of bank deposits
• Must practice Professional Courtesy
• Greet each customer as they enter the store and/or approach the cashier area a
• Thank each customer for their business
• Enquire about their shopping experience
• Fulfill other responsibilities or tasks as assigned by the Store Manager and/or General Manager

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and handle products, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
• The Sales Associate may work in a retail store, showroom, or service center, often interacting directly with customers and handling automotive products.
