KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Developing and maintaining the bank’s risk management policy.
• Ascertain whether the bank has acquired appropriate and effective risk management policy
• Report to the bank management on matters relevant to the risk management policy and its implementation and recommend any necessary improvement.
• Contribute to the administration of the bank’s credit policies and procedures
2. Ensuring that the management decision to granting loans and other banking facilities has been within appropriate authority and acceptable risks.
• Making a risk assessment of the credit proposal submitted by the Business Development Unit.
• Making a four-eye decision on the credit proposal from the Business Development Unit to granting loan and other banking facilities
• Making review and giving confirmation on the classification of loan received from Business Development Unit.
• Ensure that the classification of loan and other earning assets are in compliance with bank’s policy and local authority policy/CIMA.
• Giving inputs on the results of the loan review of debtor’s credit received from/ provided by Business Development Unit.
• Review exposure management standard including concentration of credit risks, support standard and new credit related transaction.
3. Ensuring that Credit & Investment Policy has been updated with the latest condition.
• Review and update Credit & Investment Standard Policy periodically
• Review and update Treasury & Liquidity Policy periodically
4. Participating in problem loan and recovery management.
• Evaluate whether non-performing loans in the bank portfolio are secured by acceptable collateral and proper documentation.
• Provide risk analyses and recommendation on the problem loan.
• Review the decision to upgrading or downgrading customer rating and charging provisions with respect to the bank’s policy, guideline and procedures.
5. Support the bank management in managing risks in the area of treasury and bank operations.
• Ensure that trading strategies are followed within acceptable risk parameters.
• Review the risk profile of each trading activity and that risk limits are established and monitored.
• Articulate market risk, position risk, interest rate risk, settlement risk and other treasury operational risks to senior management.
• Ensure that the bank effective risk control is in place to secure the operational functions.
• Ascertain that the bank’s disaster recovery plan and the business continuity plan have been adequately established and tested.
• Ensure that limits are properly updated into the system and are monitored regularly.
6. Performing as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
7. Performing as the alternate Internal Control & Compliance (ICC) for Anti Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO) and other ICC's function.
8. Reviewing the branch's Manual & Procedure periodically.
9. Executing other relevant duties assigned by General Manager, including and not limited to do the stress test (liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk) and BCP test. By considering the regulations, policies & procedures, and the principle of segregation of duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge & experience of bank business and activities, including min. 3 (three) years experiences in bank risk management function (credit, market, and operational risk)
• Knowledge & experience of loan procedures
• Knowledge on treasury rules and activities
• Knowledge of rules and regulations related to bank business
• Knowledge & experience of audit process
• Have Risk Management Certificate Level III from the Indonesian Banking Certification Body (LSPP)
• Strong command in English (written and spoken), with IELTS band score 6,
TOEIC band score level B2)
• Strong command in Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
• Strong in Financial Analysis, Credit Analysis, Treasury/Market Risk Analysis, Trade Finance Analysis, Operational Risk Analysis, Accounting, Banking Industry Knowledge, and Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Terrorist Financing Analysis
