The primary purpose of the Project Manager role is to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery of strategic Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), regulatory, and other internal initiatives for the Organization. Project scope may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver regulatory obligations, organizational priorities, and key business outcomes. Many initiatives will require proven knowledge of the Cayman Islands legal and regulatory framework, AML and KYC requirements, and broader compliance obligations. The Project Manager will coordinate across Legal, Risk, Compliance, RegTech, KYC Services, Onboarding, and other operational teams to support alignment, transparency, and successful execution. The role may also oversee, manage, and mentor junior project colleagues who support assigned projects and deliverables. Candidates should bring disciplined project leadership, strong customer focus, risk-based thinking, and a commitment to successfully delivering complex compliance and regulatory initiatives. The Project Manager must be able to clearly articulate project objectives, risks, decisions, dependencies, and deliverables to stakeholders, including Senior Executive Leadership.
Not all job descriptions are all-encompassing, but key expectations for fulfilment of this Project Manager role is as follows:
· Development of presentations and project planning around any and all key initiatives for the Organization.
· Ability to understand what data is required and what key actions are outstanding to ensure the completion of a project.
· Proven track record of successfully coordinating internal resources and customers for the flawless execution of projects and committee meetings. This could extend to any projects that occur within this time period to assist with resourcing and to ensure all functions and obligations of the Organization are met.
· Proven track record in ensuring that projects, management, and committee meetings are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
· Ensure the information/data provided by key stakeholders and customers are suitable for use in any and all compliance, regulatory or internal projects based on appropriate assumptions that confirm to current strategic planning of the Organization.
· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
· Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and required activities and tasks.
· Assist with and oversight of the development of a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of any current project and any other key deliverable as determined by the Executive Management Team.
· Provide leadership and motivation to project team members, colleagues, and management throughout the project life cycle.
· Ability to easily communicate with all colleagues to outline work plans including the mentoring and management of junior project colleagues.
· Using your clear understanding of the Cayman Islands legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks, building and carrying out effective project communication plans, ensuring completion.
· Identify any potential blockers/risk assessments to the delivery the appointed project including the implementation of any mitigation plans.
· Monitor project progress, attend all management meetings, scheduling, and then providing status reporting to Leadership and Executive Leadership team members across the Organization, both locally and globally.
· Attendance of management meetings will require the Project Manager to schedule, attend, engage in project deliverables, and progress meetings, providing status reporting to Leadership and Executive Leadership Teams in and post meetings.
· Lead strategic planning sessions and facilitate production of workstream deliverables.
· Lead project planning and governance sessions.
· Proactively solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project related deliverables in a changing environment.
· Proficient utilization of a technical and collaboration tools from Excel, ViewPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet, KYCP and all other internal reporting and data systems.
· Translate regulatory, policy, and compliance changes into clear project requirements, actions, ownership, and delivery plans.
· Support audit and regulatory readiness through effective project documentation, issue tracking, evidence management, and clear ownership of deliverables.
· Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive accountability for agreed timelines, actions, risks, and quality expectations.
· Document decisions, action items, ownership, and follow-up activities resulting from governance, management, and project meetings.
Technical skills, experience, and qualifications:
· 5+ years of relevant experience
· Proven understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks within the Cayman Islands.
· Experience leading global initiatives.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
· Exceptional technical skills (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, ViewPoint, SharePoint, Smartsheet) and ability to learn new system
· Expertise in setting and managing internal expectations and project deliverables.
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
· Ability to clearly prioritize workload and project deliverables.
· Demonstrated experience in seeking process improvement opportunities and future-proofing solutions.
· Demonstrated experience and ability in successfully utilizing "soft skills" or "people skills".
· Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
· Ability to lead and motivate others, demonstrating empathy and knowledge of personality types in a changing environment.
· Proven understanding of what constitutes current and verified Client Due Diligence.
· Change Management training and certification is preferred.
· AML Certification is preferred.
· Project Management training and certification is preferred.
· Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

The incumbent will perform the essential functions of this full-time role under normal working conditions, which include a professional office environment at the CSC office in Camana Bay. This entails working during standard business hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Flexibility is required to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines, address urgent matters, and coordinate with colleagues in different time zones.
