We’re seeking a Manager of Data Governance & AI to support and enhance the organization’s data, reporting, analytics and AI capabilities across its Trust, Corporate, and Fiduciary Services business in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. This role operates at the intersection of data, operations, and business performance. In addition to delivering high-quality reporting and analytics, the role contributes to shaping operational processes, improving data-driven decision-making, and supporting transformation initiatives across the business. Working directly with the Head of Operations and senior stakeholders across Regulatory, Compliance, Technology, and Shared Service lines, the role ensures that data is effectively leveraged to improve efficiency, strengthen governance, and enhance overall operational performance. The role also contributes to the development and execution of the organization's data and AI road map, identifying opportunities where analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence can improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk, and enhance client service.

Duties and responsibilities:
Technical expertise
· Data ownership and quality: Manage core operational data assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, integrity, and reliability across business systems.
· Data governance: Establish and maintain data governance standards, data definitions, ownership, lineage, and controls to ensure consistency, transparency and regulatory compliance across business systems, where appropriate.
· Reporting and performance analytics: Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks that support operational visibility and executive decision-making.
· Operational insight delivery: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across business processes.
· Process and data improvement: Contribute to the redesign and enhancement of operational workflows through better use of data and AI.
· Data integration support: Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, reporting structures, and system integrations across platforms.
· Automation and tooling: Assist in implementing automation and AI-enabled tools that improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
· AI strategy and governance: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases that support business objectives while ensuring appropriate governance, risk management, security, and regulatory compliance.
· Regulatory data support: Ensure data used for FATCA, CRS, economic substance, annual returns, and beneficial ownership reporting is accurate and fit for purpose.
· Standards and continuous improvement: Support the development of data standards, reporting consistency, and analytics best practices across the organization.

Client care
· Operational partnership: Work closely with Regulatory, Compliance, Finance, and Shared Service line teams to support day-to-day decision-making through data and insights.
· Operational performance support: Provide analytical insights and reporting to support operational performance management and business transformation initiatives.
· Stakeholder engagement: Act as a key point of contact for operational data and reporting needs across business functions.
· Service orientation: Ensure timely, accurate, and structured delivery of data and reporting requests to internal stakeholders.
· Insight communication: Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights that support operational improvement and business understanding.

People and team development
· Team management: Manage, coach, and develop data and analytics team members to build capability and support individual growth.
· Resource planning: Set priorities, allocate resources, and oversee delivery across data, reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
· Performance management: Conduct performance reviews, establish development goals, and support career progression within the team.
· Leadership and culture: Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and continuous improvement culture within the data function.
· Cross-functional collaboration: Work effectively across operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver shared outcomes.
· Data culture: Promote data literacy and encourage consistent use of data in operational decision-making.
· Knowledge sharing: Contribute to documentation, reporting standards, and best practices within the data function.
· Continuous learning: Stay current with data tools, analytics methods, and emerging technologies relevant to operational analytics.

Requirements
· Experience: Five to eight years of experience in data, analytics, business intelligence, or operational analytics roles, ideally within financial services, corporate services, or a regulated environment.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Technical skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and modern data analytics, with experience in database design, software development, cloud technologies, and web-based integrations (including APIs and RESTful services).
· Systems experience: Experience with trust and corporate services or similar fiduciary administration platforms is highly desirable, including an understanding of related data structures, workflows, reporting, and operational processes. Proficiency with Viewpoint, Laserfiche, KYCP, SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise business systems is highly desirable, with the ability to manage, maintain, and analyze data across multiple integrated platforms while ensuring data integrity, governance, and operational efficiency.
· Artificial intelligence and automation: Demonstrated experience developing scalable data solutions and implementing AI-enabled technologies, including large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and intelligent automation.
· Business understanding: Strong understanding of operational processes and how data supports business performance and decision-making within trust, corporate, and fiduciary services environments.
· Regulatory awareness: Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks including FATCA, CRS, economic substance, and related obligations.
· Industry knowledge: Familiarity with trust, corporate, and fiduciary services operations in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands, including governance, compliance, entity management, and regulatory reporting obligations.
· Analytical capability: Strong ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical business insights.
· Communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and senior operational stakeholders.
· Collaboration: Proven ability to work across functions and contribute to shared operational outcomes.

The incumbent will perform the essential functions of this full-time role under normal working conditions, which include a professional office environment at the CSC office in Camana Bay. This entails working during standard business hours (minimum 37.5 hours per week) with access to all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively. Flexibility is required to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet deadlines, address urgent matters, and coordinate with colleagues in different time zones.
