Property Caretaker/Maintenance.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and dependable Property Caretaker to maintain on a daily basis the maintenance of the 24-unit apartment complex. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the property owner, tenants, and all service providers; and will ensure the property remains in excellent condition, providing a safe environment for all tenants.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inspections to assess property conditions and identify maintenance needs within the units.
• Provide relevant maintenance, painting and repair work, ensuring timely completion of work and maintaining property grounds.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, obtaining quotes and overseeing work quality.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in caretaking and maintenance, preferably in a rental property.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, general repairs, plumbing, and some electrical would be an asset.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and current police clearance report.
• To ensure the property is always well-kept and in good condition, at all times.
• Will be required to paint the interior of the studios when required and power wash the outside of the building.
• Ensure laundry room is maintained, and machines are in good working conditions.
