On behalf of our client we are looking for a Project Manager for a temporary role for a duration of 3-6 months. The Project Manager will be tasked with overseeing and supporting, but not limited to, the following key initiatives/projects:
• Assist the team with updating all recurring contracts, including preparation of associated business cases and procurement documentation.
• Procurement and installation of the new lift and associated works to achieve occupancy certification.
• Finalization of bid package and procurement.
• Procurement and project management to achieve occupancy certification.
• Procurement and installation of security cameras
• Various renovation projects that need design and construction.
• Pool pump procurement, floor installation, and BMS procurement and installation.
• Fire alarm procurement.
• Systemwide Procurements: Water coolers, tent replacements, and fencing.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Engineering or Project Management).
• Certification in project management (PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications) and extensive relevant experience.
• Proven successful experience of 5-7 years’ experience managing large research, information development and development projects with internationally reputable institutions.
• Strong research, policy development and administrative capabilities.
• Proven ability to interact effectively at a senior level in business and political arenas, and to build productive working relationships with internal and external audiences and stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing substantial budgets.
Skills and Characteristics
• Highly developed written and oral communications skills.
• General knowledge and understanding of the Freedom of Information Law.
• Good working knowledge of traditional corporate communications methods and techniques and the ability to deliver on communications requirements to high standards.
• Advanced computer literacy and digital skills.
• Excellent analytical and research skills, with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible forms.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects on his/her own and in conjunction with multiple stakeholders, and to deliver on time and to agreed specifications.
