Project Manager.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Identify and implement improvements to the safety, reliability and efficiency of existing plant and equipment through the development of scope of works, engineering design specifications and detailed engineering design.
• Perform the duty of Project Manager and assemble multidisciplinary project teams on large projects such as power generation expansions, building additions, Mechanical/civil upgrades etc.
• Development of new and revision of existing business processes that support the mission, goals, and objectives, assigned projects and the company.
• Assist with the development of company engineering standards and practices.
• Provide Engineering support to all departments of the company as required.
• To ensure Company safety practices and procedures are followed by employees and contractors on all assigned projects.
• Provide on-call support as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in engineering and/or project management of industrial construction, production environment and/or optimization projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering or similar qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of work experience with Electric utilities preferred.
• PMP Certification or similar project management training.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Ability to manage large projects
• Ability to make decisions within competing priorities
• Ability to recognize safety hazards, analyze safety risk and take corrective action
• Developed communication/interpersonal skills - modeling and reinforcing the company's principles of superior customer service, efficient low cost operations, and a commitment to safety and the environment.
• Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs
