Facilities Engineer Supervisor.

DAC FM Ltd is seeking a Facilities Engineer Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across healthcare facilities, commercial properties and high-density residential properties in the Cayman Islands. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

1. Provide technical leadership, operational oversight and direct support to technicians for preventive maintenance, repairs and contractor coordination.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain building systems and equipment
3. Plan and deliver CapEx projects, including major equipment repairs, system upgrades, refurbishments, and building improvement works.
4. Project scoping, budgeting, contractor coordination, procurement support, and project execution.
5. Conduct site inspections to ensure maintenance activities meet safety standards and to identify risks, deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
6. Train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and facility staff

Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Min 5-10 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building services or property maintenance operations.
2. Hands-on technical experience with building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, emergency power, and building automation systems.
3. Previous healthcare or hospital maintenance experience strongly preferred, particularly with infection control, medical gas, life safety, emergency back-up, building automation, fire alarm and suppression, and specialist infrastructure.
4. Relevant trade qualification or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management or related technical field strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
5. Must be technically competent and able to actively perform complex troubleshooting, repairs and support of maintenance activities in the field.
6. Must have experience supervising maintenance teams, coordinating contractors and external vendors, and overseeing facility improvement projects.
7. Experience preparing maintenance budgets, project cost estimates and capital expenditure proposals.
8. Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through. Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple site schedules.
9. Must be able to provide after-hours emergency response and on-call support as needed.
10. Must have clean criminal record, possess a valid CI driver’s license with clean driving record, and provide verifiable references
