JOB TITLE: Junior IT Business Analyst

SALARY: CI$60,000 - CI$85,000 pa

WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Business Analyst to join our IT team. The successful candidate will support the discovery, analysis, and documentation of business and technical requirements, helping to deliver technology solutions that improve business processes, drive operational efficiency, and support digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

DO YOU HAVE:

An associate's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
3+ years of experience in business analysis, IT support, or a similar role
An Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) (preferred)
Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements
Working knowledge of Excel and Power Query for data analysis and reporting
Basic SQL skills for querying and data validation
An understanding of project lifecycles, systems development, change management, and risk management
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical and non-technical information to stakeholders
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt

WE WANT YOU TO:

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver effective business solutions
Gather, analyse, document, and translate business and technical requirements
Assess processes and solutions, identifying opportunities for improvement, automation, and digital transformation
Support digital transformation initiatives and technology implementations
Develop reporting requirements, dashboards, and data-driven insights to support decision-making
Configure, enhance, and support applications, workflows, reports, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize systems, applications, and business processes
Participate in system testing, support user acceptance testing (UAT), track issues, and support resolution
Lead smaller projects and assist project managers on larger initiatives
Conduct stakeholder interviews and document user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and project documentation
Help define KPIs and develop dashboards using Power BI
Create training materials and support end-user adoption of new solutions
Assist with business case development, solution evaluation, gap analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform other duties as required
