Our company AMPHORN & SEAGAL MECHANICAL (ASM) is looking for a Handyman. Who is a professional experienced in providing high-quality maintenance, repairs and installation services. And general home improvement residential and commercial, construction related projects. And basic understanding with HVAC-R systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• General Repairs & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and property upkeep. Troubleshoot and fix issues such as leaky faucets, squeaky doors, broken fixtures, and damaged drywall.
• Plumbing & Electrical Basics: Handle basic plumbing tasks including unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing faucets, and installing fixtures along with minor electrical work like replacing light bulbs and smoke detector batteries. And basic understanding with HVAC-R systems.
• Carpentry & Finishes: Repair, and install items such as shelves, doors, cabinets, and furniture, including minor framing, trim work, and drywall installation.
• Painting & Surface Prep: Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including thorough patching, sanding, priming, and surface preparation.
• Installation Services: Professionally install appliances, televisions, window blinds, and other household or commercial fixtures.
• Preventative Maintenance & Inspections: Inspect properties regularly to spot potential problems, recommend preventative measures, and ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Emergency Repairs & Flexibility: Respond promptly to urgent repair requests (such as burst pipes or broken locks). Maintain flexibility to work under pressure, handle stressful situations, and work after-hours, weekends, or holidays on short notice when emergencies arise.
• Tools & Worksite: Maintain, safely use, and keep inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment. Keep a clean, safe workspace while strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Client Communication & Service: Deliver professional, courteous customer service, understand job requirements, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Project Documentation & Collaboration: Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent. Collaborate smoothly with project managers, supervisors, and team members to meet schedules, maintain high-quality standards, and report progress or issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Handyman or similar role.
• Basic experience using welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery.
• Sound understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of construction and installation work.
• Clean Police Record and valid Driver’s license

This role is full-time offers an hourly salary of CI$8.75 to CI$12.00, depending on experience and performance, with an expected schedule of 45 hours per week.
