The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa invites qualified Caymanians, Cayman Status/RERC/ PR Holders to apply for the following position:

Food Runner

The Food Runner will support the Food & Beverage Server whilst delivering warm, professional, and attentive response to guests across the resort’s restaurants, bars, lounges, and banquet/event spaces. This supporting role will assist with table/room set-up and breakdown, maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards. The Food Runner will additionally uphold luxury hospitality and brand standards in a high-volume, upscale environment.

Primary responsibilities for the Food Runner role will include but not limited to the following:

• Deliver food orders to the appropriate table in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with the set up and break down banquet rooms/functions including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and décor per event orders
• Ensure proper table settings, service ware, and overall presentation meet fine-dining and banquet expectations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, banquet areas, service stations, and equipment
• Adhere to health, safety, sanitation guidelines and observe Cayman Islands liquor laws
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen, front-of-house and other teams to ensure seamless events
• Maintain full knowledge of hotel food & beverage operations, food/alcohol offerings, and local regulations
• Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Required qualifications and experience:
• 3-4 years of specific Food Runner experience in a Luxury Resort setting required.
• Food & Beverage Certificate, Tourism Diploma or formal training required.
• Proven knowledge of wine, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and premium drink offerings required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, carrying trays and other heavy items up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, fine-dining etiquette, and banquet presentation standards.
• Must be flexible to work all required shifts including early mornings, late evenings/nights, weekends and public holidays.

Pay range is KYD$6.56 - KYD$7.00 hourly plus gratuities
