Construction Site Manager.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all phases of construction projects of the Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget, to the highest quality.

Main Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
• Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site construction activities from design handover through project close out
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and construction methodologies in coordination with the Planning and Development Manager
• Monitor on-site progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or cost overruns
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
Budget & Cost Control
• Review and approve contractor valuations, change orders, and final accounts for approval by the Planning and Development Manger
• Control costs and identify opportunities for value engineering
• Manage the execution of contracts and provide procurement coordination
• Assist with contractor and subcontractor selection and procurement
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and statutory authorities
Site Management & Quality Control
• Oversee day to day site operations and contractor performance
• Ensure quality standards are met through inspections and testing
• Manage defects, snagging, and handover processes
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, planning conditions, and regulations
• Conduct site safety meetings, audits, and incident investigations
Communication & Reporting
• Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
• Prepare and present progress reports, incident reports, and risk assessments
• Chair site meetings and coordinate project documentation
• Duties may include additional tasks as required by the organization.

Profile & Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management, preferably with tropical or island projects. With a focus on High end residential, Hospitality & Commercial.
• National Vocational Qualification or other Higher Diploma in Construction or Site Management Essential
• Proven experience managing high-end residential construction projects valued at multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Demonstrated success overseeing the delivery of luxury custom homes or premium residential developments from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards in the Cayman Islands.
• Strong understanding of the quality standards, finishes, and attention to detail required for luxury residential construction.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with architects, designers, engineers, and discerning clients on bespoke residential builds.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Procore)
