Vacancy: Assistant Manager – Distressed Fund Services
We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our Distressed Fund Services team in the Cayman Islands. This dynamic division provides a comprehensive suite of services, including both contentious and non-contentious liquidations, insolvency proceedings, directorships, restructuring, investigations, and general advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a portfolio of restructuring clients, ensuring effective case management and oversight of each engagement.
• Demonstrating strong case manager skills, taking full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of assigned entities.
• Maintaining regular communication with lawyers, fund managers, directors, registered agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure all matters are handled efficiently and compliantly.
• Conducting thorough investigations and preparing statutory and regulatory documents, ensuring their timely and accurate completion.
• Taking charge of billing processes and actively managing fee collection to support the financial health of the service line.
• Assisting with the collection and realization of assets associated with client engagements.
• Participating in business development efforts to drive growth and expansion of the Distressed Fund Services team.
• Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members, including interns and trainees, and reviewing their work to ensure high standards are maintained.

Required Qualifications
• An undergraduate degree
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in liquidations and restructuring, with strong technical knowledge of liquidations and familiarity with the offshore regulatory landscape
• Investigative or fraud analysis qualification
• Possession of a relevant accounting qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
• Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and compliance requirements in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• High level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong communication skills.

• Number of Vacancies: 1
• Salary range - USD80,000 - USD90,000 - per annum
• Additional benefits: Pension, performance-based increments, health insurance
• The role is full-time in George Town
• Working hours: 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday – 184 hours per month.
