Wellness Representative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be part of an amazing team of like-minded Health Enthusiasts who take pride in executing with excellence
• Provide product knowledge and confident recommendations for vitamins, supplements, sports nutrition, protein, health snacks and wellness products based on customer’s needs
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system
• Stay UpToDate on product knowledge and industry trends
• Participate in promotional events and sales initiatives
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve individual and store goals
• Completing product inventory and maintaining a cleanliness of the shared work area
• Promote current specials, loyalty programs and new products
• Assist with inventory, receiving stock and merchandising

REQUIREMENTS
• Formal training/certificate in nutrition, dietary supplements, or wellness preferred
• Have a passion and be active in the health and wellness industry
• Have strong knowledge of vitamins, supplements, sports nutrition, fitness and specialty wellness products in the marketplace
• Be able to explain differences between similar products based on ingredients, dosage, formulation, intended use, and price—without making misleading claims.
• Be able to explain the general wellness purpose of a product
• Be willing and able to develop and learn new skills and knowledge of new vendor’s products
• Strong communication and effective problem-solving skills
• Wellness and Nutrition Planning
• Professionalism, energetic and positive attitude
• High level of Math and English skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (holidays, weekends) depending on business needs
• A high school diploma or higher, or equivalent combination of experience/ instruction
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle is a requirement of this job
