TRUCK DRIVER/INVENTORY ASSISTANT.

Responsible for collecting goods from the Port and transporting ordered goods to clients or customers. Their primary duties include scheduling delivery times, picking up goods from the Port and delivering orders to customers on predetermined routes.

Other duties and responsibilities include:
• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Cleaning and servicing van for the next delivery.
• Daily reporting and inputting of metrics into store systems.
• Assisting at the warehouse.
• Receive and stock inventory into Central Warehouse.
• Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and displays according to company standards.

Assist with maintenance of products and fixtures pertaining to the Warehouse – this includes: -
• Dusting.
• Tidying of merchandise.
• Restocking of warehouse shelves.
• Restocking of Retail Store shelves.
• Performing quality checks on stored inventory, reporting damaged or spoiled goods to Supervisor/Store Manager.
