Heavy Equipment Site Operative.

Island Recycling Ltd. is looking for a reliable full-time Heavy Equipment Site Operative to be responsible for the following:
• Complete daily inspection on machinery checklist and report any significant issues immediately
• Carry out any necessary routine maintenance or repairs as required
• Assess tasks to be completed with the team and plan with management.
• Commence operations safely and in line with received safety training.
• Process materials and prepare for export using machines/equipment or manually to company standards.
• Calculate, Manifest, List, and Document materials process in the manner trained
• Once work is complete, check over the machinery used and wash down if necessary
• Park safely in an area with a camera view, away from hazards, lock, isolate, and return key.
• Clear work areas, sweep, rake, shovel, and whatever is necessary to clean to management standards.
• Clean and place all tools used in the designated areas

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience relevant to the role with experience with Operating a Forklift, experience with Operating an Excavator and experience with Operating a front-end Loader/ Wheel Loader. Must have a Group 3 driver’s license. Ability to communicate written and verbally with clients. Ability to work weekends and public holidays as required and ability to do heavy lifting & Manual Labour.

Education: High School

Salary: CI$10–CI$15.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience working 45 hours per week. Benefits: As required by Cayman Islands Labour Law
