Talent Consultant, Assistant Director

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Talent Consultant, Assistant Director, to join our Talent team in Grand Cayman. Working closely with other team members, you'll implement and influence people programs and processes for the Cayman office. You'll resolve employee inquiries on a wide range of HR topics including, but not limited to, employee relations, performance management, policy and compensation.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the first point of contact for new hires and client groups in the Cayman office; address and resolve requests, concerns and inquiries
• Handle and resolve employee relations issues and escalate where necessary
• Implement, execute and influence HR programs and processes as appropriate, including managing immigration vendor relationship, performance management and payroll
• Assist with the intern and scholarship programs in Cayman
• Facilitate local office orientation.
• Continually review and recommend process improvements
• Collect and analyze data on exit surveys, budgets and turnover; identify issues and make recommendations
• Assist in the implementation of global HR programs

To qualify, candidates must have:
• A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field; SHRM certification or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience including supervising others, preferably in a professional services firm
• Solid knowledge of Cayman employment laws and practices; knowledge of HR principles
• Very strong ability to multi-task, manage multiple priorities and multiple competing deadlines
• Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Strong client service mindset
• A dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment
• Strong technical skills
