Spanish Teacher.

Role-Specific Requirements:

• Specialized qualification in Spanish, Spanish Education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish as a world/second language.
• Experience using authentic and communicative approaches to language acquisition.
• Experience differentiating instruction to support students with varying levels of language proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and authentic cultural resources into language instruction.
• IB experience preferred.

Core Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certificate/license recognized by the Cayman Islands.
• Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience in an accredited school using a US-based or International Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Demonstrated experience planning, delivering, and assessing student learning.
• Experience managing a classroom environment and supporting student development.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning.
