Senior Sales Associate.

Job Description

We are seeking 1 reliable individual to join our team who will be the frontline of our growth efforts. You’ll be responsible for identifying new merchant partners, pitching our platform and managing relationships that ensure long-term success. You’ll work closely with the sales and management team to develop strategies and campaigns, test new ideas and help us scale. This position requires an individual with strong communication and other interpersonal skills needed to manage the sales team and provide an excellent service to our merchants.

What You’ll Do:
● Prospect and onboard new merchant partners.
● Build strong, lasting relationships with merchant owners and decision makers.
● Pitch our value proposition clearly and convincingly to potential partners.
● Support negotiations and contract discussions with restaurants and other local business partners.
● Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product) to ensure partner success.
● Work closely with the marketing team to create campaigns and content that will bring value to our merchants, as well as to advertise Bento projects and initiatives to constantly increase attraction and retention of customers on the platforms.
● Collaborate internally and externally to properly plan, organize and manage new products and partnerships.
● Track sales activities and performance metrics to hit and exceed targets.
● Stay up to date on market trends and activities to spot new opportunities.
● Visit current merchants to address issues and concerns, provide reports and strategies to help them boost their visibility and sales through our platforms.
● Respond to merchants’ inquiries and provide updates.
● Actively participate in management meetings to establish commercial strategies and action plans.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or equivalent (completed)
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role.
● Previous experience in negotiating and closing deals, dealing with sensitive and confidential information, leading meetings and corporate initiatives.
● Experience working with marketing strategies, data analysis, content creation and customer experience is a plus.
● Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
● Be comfortable with rapid decision-making discussions.
● Ability to speak Portuguese or Spanish (advanced level) as a second language to support our diverse team is a plus.

Working Conditions:
● Work hours: regular 45-hour work week. Must be available to work flexible hours when needed to
address particular situations between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, weekends and public holidays.
● Must have a valid Cayman driver's license.

Compensation:
KYD $3,000.00/month, plus commission and Bento credits and Health and Pension as per labour laws.
