Senior Project Manager, IT.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders; this will include the development of business cases. To include estimate of resources and participants required to achieve project goals.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders; plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout project lifecycle and determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements
Applicants should possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems
• Project Manager Professional (PMP)
• 7 – 10 years’ experience, preferably in IT project management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Project Server;
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Key Competencies
• Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
• Stays current with industry standards and changes and demonstrates that knowledge by implementing appropriate changes;
• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives;
• Possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
