General Duties
• Performs other appropriate and related duties as assigned by the Reporting-Head to meet departmental objectives
• Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve workflow
• Assist with quarterly/annual audit as required without compromising the regular clinical activities

Specific Responsibilities
Coordinates all administrative and clinical activities in the facility.
Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other prescribed treatments and can perform IV Canula & immunization for patients
Develops, ensures the implementation and evaluation of standards of patient care on an ongoing basis.
Deals with other departments to solve inter-unit or inter-departmental challenges.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients.
Administer medications, injections, IVs, and other prescribed treatments, including wound care and related procedures.
Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and response to treatments.
Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Provide appropriate coverage for unscheduled absenteeism/sick leave or change in number of patients or status ensuring patient safety.
Supervising the development of appropriate inventory systems, which are ongoing, preventing shortages or overstocking the facility
Coordinates patient placement for optimal utilization of beds and equipment based on triaging of patient care needs.
Ensures preventive and ongoing maintenance of equipment is carried out and reports all failures or deficiencies through appropriate department heads.
Handles the orientations and evaluations of all new staff in clinical care
Organizes emergency medications, equipment, supplies and services for patient care needs.
Assists in the development of unit Policy and Procedures which involve all patient care issues and acts as an advocate for patients and nursing.
Ensures appropriate check-in/out of the patients at the facility offering services.
Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations (e.g., Code Blue).
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of fire safety, patient safety, infection control and the other necessary precautions as per the policy.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in continuous professional development and training activities
Carries out any other duties assigned by the Reporting-Head.

General Requirements:
Current licensure in country of origin or local authority license to practice.
Good English - spoken & written
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Team player with flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
