Prep Cook.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various dishes, including washing, chopping, and portioning.
- Prepare and portion food items according to standardized recipes and established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, ensuring all tools and equipment are ready for service.
- Follow instructions to ensure timely and accurate preparation of dishes.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen management of shortages or needs for reordering supplies.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and baking as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of food quality.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation procedures.
