Scope of responsibilities for Pharmacists:
Prepare medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
Dispense medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
Control medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
Document work processes as required
Maintain work area, supplies, medications, and immunizations
Maintain and establish effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management
Communicate effectively, courteously, professionally, and efficiently in all encounters
Ability to maintain records, statistics, supply levels, logbooks, and files
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with policies
Must be able to operate usual office equipment (copier, fax machine, phone systems)
5+ years experience required
