A private family office is seeking a part-time Operations Officer to manage local island logistics and oversee philanthropic initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with local service providers in support of the family’s on-island residence and local activities; engage with existing non-profit organizations that are qualified as, or affiliated with, US charitable organizations. Identify, research, and interview potential recipients for charitable donations. Maintain an accurate database of all prior and potential candidates. Actively serve on the charitable board to vote on donation recipients and funding amounts.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree.
• The successful candidate must be able to work and travel in the United States without sponsorship.
• The role requires frequent and sometimes short-notice travel, so candidates must have the flexibility to travel as required by the UBO with no restrictions or obstacles that would prevent them from doing so.
• The ability to travel at very short notice is an essential requirement of the position.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interviewing, meticulous data entry habits, and the ability to work independently
