Masonry Duties:
Construct, repair, and maintain walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.
Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other bonding materials.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project specifications.
Lay bricks, concrete blocks, or stones in accordance with structural and aesthetic requirements.
Install and repair concrete structures such as sidewalks, driveways, and foundations.
Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of masonry work.
Use power tools and hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels.
Carpentry Duties:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials for framing, cabinetry, roofing, and other structures.
Install doors, windows, flooring, and wooden fixtures in residential and commercial buildings.
Repair and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and frameworks.
Construct and install formwork and scaffolding for concrete projects.
Operate woodworking machinery and tools, ensuring safety at all times.
Finish carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and sealing surfaces.
