Mason Helper/Carpenter Helper/Steel Worker Helper.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting masons with worksite preparation and supporting the mixing, handling, and transportation of construction materials, including cement, sand, stone, and sheetrock mud. Duties will also include assisting with plastering and performing general construction labor tasks.

The applicant will assist steel fixers by cutting and bending steel reinforcement bars according to specifications and helping with the positioning, tying, and securing of reinforcement steel. They will also support carpenters with the framing and construction of walls, roofs, and floors.

Additional responsibilities include assembling wooden structures and furniture; installing fixtures, doors, windows, and frames; organizing, maintaining, and storing tools and materials; safely handling construction materials using cranes, hoists, and other equipment; and constructing and dismantling scaffolding as required.

The successful applicant must perform all assigned duties safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. They will also be expected to carry out other related duties as required to support the successful completion of construction projects.
