Line Cooke - Curry Section.

Job Summary:
Desi Kitchen, Authentic North Indian Cuisine, is seeking an experienced Indian style Curry Chef to manage day-to-day preparation of authentic north Indian curries, dals, and gravies. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in North and West Indian cuisine, with a focus on quality, consistency, and authenticity.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of North Indian curries, dals, sabzis, and gravies.
Maintain authentic flavors using traditional techniques and fresh ingredients.
Manage kitchen operations related to curry section — prep, portioning, and service.
Ensure hygiene and safety standards are consistently followed.
Support menu development and special festival offerings.
Coordinate with the tandoor and roti sections for smooth kitchen flow.

Requirements:

Minimum 5-6 years’ experience as a curry chef or cook in an Indian vegetarian kitchen.
Proven knowledge of traditional Indian spices, gravies, and vegetarian preparation techniques.
Ability to maintain consistency and presentation standards under high-volume operations.
Familiarity with food hygiene regulations.
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.

Work Schedule:

6 days per week
Split shifts (morning and evening service periods)

Compensation:

Salary will depend on experience and skill level.
