The housekeeper cleans the guest rooms to IHG hotel standards of cleanliness. Loads and organizes carts, stores them in the utility closets when finished. Changes the linens, in accordance with the sheet changing policy, and makes the bed properly daily. Cleans bathroom, including the shower curtain, walls, mirrors, tub, toilet, and floor. Places standard amenity items in bathroom area and around the room. Vacuums Hallway carpets and any other duties required by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
The potential candidate must
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Operate equipment and machinery.
- Have a good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken with the ability to take directions and follow instructions accurately
- Experience in some cleaning capacity, preferably Housekeeping
- Must have own transportation as the property is not on a bus route.
