Position Overview: We are seeking a well experienced and highly responsible General Helper which will provide and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our growing construction and interior fit-out projects.
Salary Range: KYD $8.75/hour (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Working Hours: Monday – Saturday (Morning Shift) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday – Saturday (Afternoon Shift) 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all cleaning in and around residences, commercial and construction properties.
• Cleans floors and rooms. including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors and cleaning toilets.
• Vacuums, empties trash, and replaces liners.
• Monitors and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Maintaining cleaning products and equipment.
• Notify management in case there is a need for repair and interventions.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in the cleaning field.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength, with the ability to perform demanding manual tasks.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity.
• Basic familiarity with cleaning equipment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward task completion.
• Ability to understand and follow clear verbal and written instructions from clients and supervisors.
• Strict adherence to all occupational health and safety protocols, and specific safety regulations.
• Effective verbal communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
• Current legal authorization to work in the Cayman Islands
