Food and Beverage Server/Shift Supervisor.

The Shift Supervisor will oversee the operations of a shift to ensure that food safety, product preparation, cleanliness, and inventory control standards are consistently met. Responsibilities include scheduling and supervising staff, as well as training less experienced Sandwich Artists™. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this role.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all tasks and responsibilities of a Food & Beverage Server/Shift Supervisor as outlined in the job description.
Train newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists™.
Practice inventory control standards.
Inspect equipment and storage facilities to ensure proper working order.
Schedule and supervise staff as needed.
Perform paperwork duties as needed.
Complete University of Subway® courses as required.

PREREQUISITES:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: Minimum of 3-4 years of restaurant experience, strong communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in any area of the restaurant as needed, operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register, and be capable of standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday. Must also be able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
