Courier.

Position Summary

The Courier is responsible for the timely and accurate collection and delivery of packages, and for supporting warehouse sorting and organization. The role ensures packages are handled safely, deliveries are completed on schedule, and the warehouse remains organized and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Sorting & Organizing
• Sort incoming packages by destination, customer, or delivery route.
• Organize and arrange packages in the warehouse for efficient retrieval and dispatch.
• Keep sorting and staging areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Flag mislabeled, damaged, or misplaced packages for review.

Collection of Packages
• Collect packages, documents, and supplies from customers, the warehouse, port, and CBC airport.
• Verify package details and condition at the point of collection.
• Obtain proper documentation and signatures for each collection.

Daily Deliveries
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet daily schedules.
• Deliver packages safely and on time to customers.
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Communicate delivery delays or issues promptly to management.

Qualifications
• Prior experience in courier, delivery, or CBC warehouse processing related work.
• Familiarity with the local area and ability to plan practical routes.
• Basic organizational and record-keeping ability.
• Comfortable and competence with cash handling.
• Good communication and customer service manner.

Must-Haves
• Valid group 3 driver's license, clean driving record, 2 years experience driving box truck.
• Must be 25 years or older (insurance requirement).
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weight throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• 2 years experience with processing & handling consolidated shipments.
• Clean Police record.
