The Counsel should be able to work with colleagues to help clients succeed in realizing their business or personal objectives, through the efficient delivery of appropriate legal advice and assistance; must demonstrate an ability to provide accurate, focused advice to clients. Should be familiar with and confident in the use of office IT applications; good typing skills
The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of our litigation practice by advising clients on a broad range of litigation, restructuring and insolvency matters, taking an active role in business development and marketing the department to existing and potential clients, and supervising junior attorneys and trainees.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum seven (7) years’ post-qualification experience in commercial matters at a major onshore or offshore law firm, with particular emphasis on cross-border insolvency and restructuring, enforcement, commercial litigation, and financial services litigation
• Proven cross-border experience in complex commercial litigation, dispute resolution matters
• Ability to independently manage a large caseload of complex matters and client relationships
• Strong business development experience and networking skills
• Ability to inspire, engage, and develop others through supervision and mentorship of junior team members
• Demonstrated ability to provide rapid, accurate advice to clients, with excellent advocacy, drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
