Duties and Responsibilities

Campbells is seeking to recruit Counsel to join our Corporate team. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of Campbells corporate practice by advising clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, corporate structuring, financing and capital markets matters; assisting with the supervision of attorneys and articled clerks; taking an active role in business development; and marketing the department to existing and potential clients.

Requirements

Applicants should be a Cayman Attorney-at-law (or eligible to be admitted as such) with:

• At least ten years post-qualification experience, with a strong focus in Corporate and expertise in two or more areas such as Banking & Finance, Investment Funds & Asset Management, Regulatory & Compliance, Blockchain & FinTech, Entity Formation & Corporate Services, Insurance & Reinsurance, or Private Wealth;
• Extensive experience working in a leading international or offshore law firm;
• Relevant professional and academic qualifications, including at least a 2:1 law degree from a recognised institution;
• A proven ability to manage complex transactions, with expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating transactional documents;
• A demonstrated ability to provide rapid, accurate and commercially sound advice to clients, both verbally and in writing, within demanding deadlines;
• An established professional profile, with demonstrated business development and client relationship management skills; and
• Experience contributing to a cohesive, results-driven team.

Salary & Benefits

Campbells offers an attractive remuneration package, with a salary in the range of US$220,000.00 to US$285,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications, eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, and statutory benefits as required by law.
