Pico is a fast casual Mexican restaurant and Water & the Elephant is a specialty coffee bar and cafe, both located in Cayman Technology Centre, Grand Cayman. We’re hiring for the following position(s) to join our busy team. If you're passionate about food and hospitality and want to be part of a growing business we’d love to hear from you!

Chef

Responsibilities include preparing and executing savoury and pastry menu items for multi-concept restaurant to company standards, while maintaining food quality, portion control, stock rotation, organisation and kitchen cleanliness as well as menu development alongside Head Chef.

What We’re Looking For

- min. 4 years’ experience in similar role
- experience in cafe brunch and lunch service and Mexican, techniques, and ingredients
- Min 2 yrs experience in breads and pastry (including, without limitation, french pastry)
- passion for quality, presentation, and consistency
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- able to work independently and as part of a team

Wage $10-13/h + grats. Standard benefits will apply.

This is a full time position and all applicants must be able to work holidays, weekends and split shifts.
