We are looking to hire a skilled Carpenter Helper/Mason Helper/ Construction Labourer who knows how to assist and work alongside trade professional carpenters and Masons. You will be responsible for assisting with the layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include assisting with the preparation of masonry material to be able to design, cut, and measure materials according to a client's requirements. Construction Labourer to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying minor repairs to the building and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job.
Carpenter Helpers & Mason Helper/ Construction Labour Responsibilities TO ASSIST TRADE WORKERS
• Must know how to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assist the carpenter with the necessary repair work and installing doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Ability to cut accurate material as directed
• Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Assist with preparation for cutting, shaping and dressing materials.
• Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks.
• Accurately follow the direction of the Mason at all times. Comply with local building codes and health and safety regulations.
