A Care Worker makes positive contributions in assisting and guiding residents, to model appropriate behaviour and work practices model.
Care Worker key accountabilities include, but not limited to:
• Ensuring the implementation of the day-to-day schedule of activities for the residents of the Home and to provide professional childcare services.
• Assisting the Manager of the Home in the development and implementation of programs/strategies.
• Assisting in implementing Care plans.
• Providing support, crisis intervention and conflict resolutions to all residents.
• Enforcing chore list, meal plans and managing resident’s rewards.
• Maintaining privacy of conversations with residents in the Home/Office.
• Ensuring all household responsibilities and fire reports are completed.
• Assisting with admission of residents.
• Documenting incidents via incident reports.
• Reporting all safety hazards.
