Best, the highest rating given to any insurance company in the Caribbean. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Cayman as a Branch Administrator.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Cayman Branch as Branch Administrator. The role provides administrative, financial, customer service, compliance, and broker-support functions and works closely with the Branch Manager to ensure efficient branch operations. The successful candidate should have strong insurance knowledge, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities:
• Process customer payments, maintain the branch cashbook, and complete daily reconciliations.
• Reconcile customer accounts, monitor outstanding payments, investigate discrepancies, and resolve customer and broker queries.
• Assist customers with claims, including explaining procedures, collecting required documentation, and following up on timely processing.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Branch Manager and ensure assigned processes and documentation are completed on time.
• Assist with KYC validations and reporting for new business and renewals, ensuring customer files are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare branch reports and support broker operations and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead the annual Stuff-the-Bus initiative, including radio programmes, organizing supplies, and liaising with charities.
• Maintain confidentiality and support compliance, business continuity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Associate Degree in Business Administration or related discipline, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, and CII Award in Insurance (FIT).
• Working knowledge of general insurance operations, including payments, reconciliations, claims, renewals, and policy administration.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, flexibility, and dependability.
