Our company Precision Tech Ltd. Is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician with specialized expertise in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Electric Vehicles (EVs), and conventional petrol/diesel systems. This is a critical role within our team, supporting the growing demand for advanced vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair. To join our team. Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnosing, service, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including complex hybrid and electric models
• Perform advanced diagnostics using modern tools, software, and manufacturer-specific systems
• Inspect vehicle systems, identify faults, and determine accurate repair solutions
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including inspections, fluid changes, and system checks
• Repair or replace defective components, including high-voltage battery systems and electrical components
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards
• Interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins from international manufacturers
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to test vehicle performance and ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain detailed and accurate service records, reports, and documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians when required
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and, when necessary, customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
• Ensure efficient workflow by managing time and prioritizing tasks effectively
• Stay updated with emerging automotive technologies, particularly in EV and hybrid systems
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations, especially when handling high-voltage systems
• Assist in quality control checks to ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer standards
• Support inventory management by identifying required parts and materials for repairs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
• Demonstrates clear, respectful, and professional communication with both clients and staff.
• Work under pressure, handle stressful situations and maintain flexibility.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice if emergency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair
• Proven expertise in HEV and EV systems, as well as petrol and diesel engines
• Certifications in Hybrid Technology and Advanced Automotive Technologies
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
• Familiarity with international manufacturer standards and practices
• Highly experienced or suitable equivalent – Certificate in Hybrid Technology
• Clean Police Record and valid CI Driver’s license
