Advance Automotive Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Car Sales Maintenance & Support candidate to join our Service Department. This role is responsible for ensuring customer vehicles are cleaned, maintained, and returned in excellent condition following service appointments, while supporting the overall operations of the Service Department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Clean and detail customer vehicles after servicing, including washing, vacuuming, interior cleaning, and exterior finishing.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in a clean and professional condition.
• Perform final vehicle appearance inspections before customer delivery.
• Remove grease, dirt, fingerprints, and debris from vehicles after maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle preparation as required.
• Move customer vehicles safely within the dealership premises.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay, detailing area, and equipment.
• Monitor detailing supplies and report shortages to management.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures when handling customer vehicles.
• Assist with tow truck operations, including preparing vehicles for towing, guiding vehicle positioning, and supporting safe vehicle movement.
• Assist with general dealership and service department duties as required.
• Shuttle customers, assist with the pickup and delivery of business-related operations as required.
• General handyman and facility maintenance duties.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive detailing with dealership experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is an asset.
• Knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, detailing techniques, and paint care.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Cayman Islands driver's license with a clean driving record. Due to the company's motor insurance policy, applicants must be 23 years of age or older to be eligible to drive company vehicles.
Average Monthly Salary is CI$1,900.00 - $2,300.00 and will commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include paid vacation, contributory pension and medical.

Job Location: George Town
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & Sat 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Working Conditions: Full-time permanent position based at an automotive dealership. Standard 45-hour work week, Monday to Saturday. Work is performed primarily outdoors and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating company and customer vehicles. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, cleaning chemicals, water, and automotive equipment.
