Auto Mechanic.

Seeking certified Level 3 thru Level 5 Mechanics OR ‘Hands-On’ trained with over 5 to 10 years’ work experience to
• Perform work specified on maintenance and Repair Orders with efficiency and in accordance with the automotive Mitchell’s and Shop Boss standard.
• Must be certified as a Level 3,4 or 5 Auto Mechanic from a recognized institution OR 'Hand's-On-Trained', with over 10 years working in the automotive industry.
• Must be prepared to work and train Apprentices ‘On the Job’ from Superior Auto Training Program OR any Caymanian Interns from other schools.
• Must be computer literate-knowledge of All-Data and Shop Boss systems a must
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning to specification on all Makes and Models.
• Providing labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non- technical manner to service Writers and
Customers
• Inspecting and testing vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be recommended.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment and AC equipment
• Sound experience using automotive technology equipment for analyzing data carrying out diagnostic tests and the required repairs.
• To be able to Troubleshoot
• Possess own Tools
• Clean Police record
Salary commensurate with experience starting at $12.00- $18.00 per hour (Flat Rate/J0b Work) with all other benefits per the Labour Act
